This valve cap is a tire pressure monitoring system and is a compendium of technology that very cleverly combines electronics and fluid mechanics. With the two existing versions, one for light vehicles, the other for heavy vehicles it can monitor all pressures between 1 and 13 due to its automatic self calibrating faculty. The LED pressure alarm cap works with a new kind of patented electronic sensor capable to self adjust itself to any pressure between 1 and 13 bar. There are two sensors that have been developed, one to warn pressures between 1 and 5 bar after 0,30 loss of pressure, the other to warn pressures from 1 to 13 bar from a 0,6 bar pressure loss. The cap self calibrates itself every time installed on a tire and this as many time it will be necessary all along its service life. Visible day and night from a good distance and equipped with a protective anti-theft sleeve made in stainless steel it can resist to thieves, weather and road aggressions. The product has a 2 year guarantee and is equipped with a low battery alarm that make its LED to blink yellow instead of red as soon as its 3 volt battery voltage gets lowers than 2,4 volt. Its alkaline button cell L1131 batteries and seals can be changed every time necessary by any authorized service center. This product offers high levels of performance and accuracy whilst being the least expensive current system. Virtually all other electronic systems involve the removal of tires and/or are rarely fitted with anti-theft systems. Every cap is individually tested on specially developed test benches designed to check its perfect tightness, its effective functioning, the sensors accurate reaction and the thread resistance.
